ALA decreases significantly CRP, SAA and IL-6 levels in dyslipidaemic

Dietary supplementation with ALA for 3 months decreases significantly CRP, SAA and IL-6 levels in dyslipidaemic patients. This anti-inflammatory effect may provide a possible additional mechanism for the beneficial effect of plant n-3 polyunsaturated fatty acids in primary and secondary prevention of coronary artery disease.

Salvia Sclarea effect on inflammation
intake of sage oil reduces the level of inflammation and reduces the damage for the colon tissue in rats, infected with Colitis

Alpha linolenic acid (ALA) must be acquired nutritionally

The rate of conversion of ALA into longer omega-3 PUFA is, however, rather slow and nutritional intake plays a large part in determining the abundance of EPA and DHA in the membrane.
Omega-3 Induced Change in Clinical Parameters of Rheumatoid Arthritis
Rheumatoid Arthritis (RA) is a chronic inflammatory disease characterized by joint swelling, synovial inflammation and cartilage destruction
Omega-3 have anti-inflammatory effects (psoriasis,lupus and more)

Long chain fatty acids influence inflammation through a variety of mechanisms;
many of these are mediated by, or at least associated with, changes in fatty acid
composition of cell membranes.
